Crown has been a registered UK trademark for paints since the 1950s. Originally part of Berger Paints, Crown became a standalone brand and one of the UK's leading paint manufacturers. The brand has held a Royal Warrant, and its Darwen, Lancashire factory has been producing paint since 1777, making it one of the oldest paint manufacturing sites in the world.
