Globe-Trotter luggage traces its history to 1897 when the Sachsische Kofferfabrik "Stabilist" was founded in Dresden, with the Globe-Trotter logo registered in Germany in 1901. The business relocated from Germany to London in the early 1930s. Globe-Trotter Suit Case Co. Limited was incorporated on 13 March 1959.
