Trademark Dashboard is a trading name of Decentralised Finance Software Ltd (Company No: 16838716), registered in England & Wales. Our registered office is Moxon House, Moxon Street, Marylebone, London, W1U 4EY.

The company is part of the Moxon AI Group, which holds the intellectual property behind the platform.

Our founder

Trademark Dashboard was founded by Nik Maguire, CEO of Decentralised Finance Software Ltd. Nik brings a background in technology and data-driven product development, with a mission to make UK trademark intelligence accessible, transparent, and free at the point of search.

We provide free, instant access to the UK trademark register — over 2.87 million records — alongside AI‑powered clearance reports, a comprehensive attorney directory, and tools that help founders, brand owners, and IP professionals make informed decisions.

Data sources

Our UK trademark database is sourced directly from the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO) via automated daily SFTP synchronisation. Every record — including filing dates, statuses, Nice class allocations, and applicant details — comes from the official register.

United States trademark data is derived from the USPTO public bulk data products. EU trademark data is sourced from EUIPO.

UK trademark data is Crown copyright, used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. We display this data as‑is and do not alter official records.

Methodology

Attorney rankings

Our attorney directory indexes every firm and individual that has filed a UK trademark with the IPO. Rankings are derived from publicly available filing data:

• Filing volume — total number of UK IPO applications associated with the attorney or firm
• Class specialism — based on the distribution of filings across the 45 Nice classes
• Recency — weighting towards attorneys who have filed in recent years

Claimed and verified attorney profiles may display additional information (contact details, bios, and verified credentials) provided directly by the attorney. Free and paid listing tiers are described on our attorney pricing page.

Clearance reports

Our similarity analysis uses phonetic algorithms (Metaphone, Soundex), Levenshtein distance calculations, and AI‑assisted conceptual matching to assess potential conflicts. Results are presented as risk scores, not legal advice. We recommend consulting a qualified trademark attorney before filing.

Data freshness

The UK IPO data feed is synchronised every 24 hours. Every search results page displays a “Data last synced” timestamp so users can verify recency. Attorney directory data is rebuilt from the same daily feed.
