MAPPIN & WEBB
Mappin & Webb has been registered in the UK for silverware and jewellery since the company's founding in Sheffield in 1775. The firm held Royal Warrants from Queen Victoria onwards and became one of Britain's most prestigious silversmiths. Its Crown Jeweller appointment and its Regent Street flagship store cemented the brand's position at the apex of British luxury metalwork.

Brand History & Trademark Analysis
Jonathan Mappin founded the company in Sheffield in 1775, with his nephews establishing the London presence at King William Street in 1848. Mappin & Webb were appointed Crown Jewellers in 1897. The company was acquired by Sears Holdings in 1967 and later became part of the Goldsmiths Group, which today also owns Goldsmiths and Watches of Switzerland.
